Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized respiratory care plans
- Conduct diagnostic testing including arterial blood gases (ABGs), pulmonary function tests (PFTs), EKGs, cardiac monitoring, bronchoscopy, and pulse oximetry
- Transport patients within the facility or between facilities as needed
- Revise therapy plans based on ongoing patient evaluation and clinical findings
- Provide on-call coverage outside of standard scheduled hours in accordance with department and facility policy
- Work standard shifts as well as flexible hours, including overtime exceeding 40 hours per week as required
Required Qualifications- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP)
- Active BLS certification
- Active ACLS certification
- Active PALS certification
- Active NRP certification
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
Preferred Experience / Skills- Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
- Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
