Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate therapeutic gas administration apparatus and mechanical ventilators
- Provide emergency care including external cardiac massage, artificial respiration, and assistance with cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Maintain accurate patient charts containing identification and therapy information
- Apply knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation in patient care
- Float to other units as needed to support staffing requirements
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment in accordance with facility standards and protocols
Required Qualifications- Current Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in the state of practice
- Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum 1 year of respiratory care experience
- Experience in emergency care and intensive care settings
- Proficiency with respiratory equipment
- Experience with EPIC EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills- Basic nursery experience
- Strong background in pulmonary rehabilitation
