Job Title
Travel – Registered Respiratory Therapist (Night Shift)
LocationTallahassee, Florida
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Minimum three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities- Administer aerosol treatments and manage Bipap and ventilator therapy across inpatient units including two 10-bed ICUs
- Rotate throughout all inpatient floors as part of the department's standard floating policy
- Participate in daily interdisciplinary rounding and collaborate with multiple clinical disciplines to support patient care
- Perform advanced procedures including intubation, arterial line insertion, and bedside bronchoscopy assist
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment including Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, Phillips V60+, and Siemens EPOC bedside ABG analyzers
- Utilize AIDET framework to meet patient experience standards and document care using Meditech
Required Qualifications- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Minimum 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy
- Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- Demonstrated competency in critical care and emergency care settings
- Experience with ventilator management and Bipap management
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a high-acuity acute-care hospital environment with ICU exposure
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
- Experience performing bedside bronchoscopy assist and arterial line insertion
