Key Responsibilities- Perform quality respiratory treatments and testing across all age groups in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Conduct outpatient diagnostic testing including Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs), Stress Tests, and EKGs
- Provide care for inpatients and emergency department patients in a Critical Access Hospital environment, including the ability to work independently
- Assist with patient and family education regarding respiratory diseases and medications
- Contribute to the development of discharge plans for patients
- Operate and maintain various respiratory equipment with proficiency
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
- Must hold Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential and be licensed in the State of Montana
- Current BLS, NRP, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
- Newborn experience required
- Ability to work independently in a solo capacity
- Strong communication skills and ability to function effectively as part of a team
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
- Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital setting
