Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel Contract

Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory therapy services across adult acute care, adult critical care, pediatric acute care, NICU, PICU, and the Emergency Department as part of a facility-wide team
- Manage and operate a variety of ventilators and respiratory support equipment including Drager, Hamilton, Respironics, Airvo, Vapotherm, and Trilogy line devices
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:25 in acute care settings and 1:8 in critical care settings
- Float across departments as required, supporting the full facility with a team of 14–16 RRTs
- Document patient care and treatment accurately using EPIC EMR
- Fulfill on-call requirements, including 2-hour call coverage for the oncoming shift
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as an RRT
- Current BLS certification required
- NRP certification required for NICU coverage
- Experience in a tertiary, teaching hospital environment with Level 1 Trauma designation
- Proficiency with adult acute and critical care patient populations
Preferred Experience / Skills- ACLS certification preferred
- Experience in NICU, PICU, and/or Cardiothoracic settings strongly preferred
- Pediatric respiratory therapy experience highly desirable
