Job Title

Registered Respiratory Therapist – Travel (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | 26-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory therapy services across the full facility, including adult acute care, adult critical care, pediatric acute care, NICU, PICU, and the Emergency Department
  • Operate and manage a variety of ventilators and respiratory equipment including Drager V500/VN500, Hamilton T1/C1, Respironics V30/V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm
  • Maintain patient documentation and care coordination using EPIC EMR
  • Function within a team of 14–16 RRTs covering the entire facility, with patient ratios of 1:25 in acute care and 1:8 in critical care
  • Float to various units as required, including NICU/PICU, pediatric acute care, ED, and adult critical care
  • Fulfill on-call requirements, including a 2-hour call obligation for the oncoming shift
Required Qualifications
  • Active RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required
  • Minimum 2–3 years of respiratory therapy experience
  • BLS certification required
  • NRP certification required for NICU coverage
  • Experience in a tertiary, teaching hospital setting with Level 1 Trauma designation
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • Experience in NICU, PICU, and/or Cardiothoracic settings strongly preferred
  • Flexible, team-oriented communicator comfortable working in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
