Registered Respiratory Therapist – Travel (Night Shift)

Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory therapy services across the full facility, including adult acute care, adult critical care, pediatric acute care, NICU, PICU, and the Emergency Department
- Operate and manage a variety of ventilators and respiratory equipment including Drager V500/VN500, Hamilton T1/C1, Respironics V30/V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm
- Maintain patient documentation and care coordination using EPIC EMR
- Function within a team of 14–16 RRTs covering the entire facility, with patient ratios of 1:25 in acute care and 1:8 in critical care
- Float to various units as required, including NICU/PICU, pediatric acute care, ED, and adult critical care
- Fulfill on-call requirements, including a 2-hour call obligation for the oncoming shift
Required Qualifications- Active RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required
- Minimum 2–3 years of respiratory therapy experience
- BLS certification required
- NRP certification required for NICU coverage
- Experience in a tertiary, teaching hospital setting with Level 1 Trauma designation
Preferred Experience / Skills- ACLS certification preferred
- Experience in NICU, PICU, and/or Cardiothoracic settings strongly preferred
- Flexible, team-oriented communicator comfortable working in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
