Registered Respiratory Therapist – Travel Contract

Key Responsibilities- Provide registered respiratory therapy services to adult patients in an acute care setting
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with breathing disorders and cardiopulmonary conditions
- Operate and manage mechanical ventilators and other respiratory equipment
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Float to emergency department as needed based on staffing and patient care demands
Required Qualifications- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the NBRC – current and active
- Active Florida Respiratory Therapy license (RT-FL)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – current
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification – current
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification – current
- Minimum of 1 verifiable professional reference from work history
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in adult acute care or hospital-based respiratory therapy
- Familiarity with emergency department respiratory care protocols
