• Administer therapeutic respiratory treatments as prescribed by attending medical staff
• Document treatment information and patient response in the computerized medical record
• Perform invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring of patients across appropriate age groups
• Serve as a resource to medical staff regarding respiratory care and equipment
• Ensure respiratory equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
• Participate as part of the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests

• Graduation from an approved Respiratory Care Program
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision
• Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association required within 3 months of hire
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required within 12 months of hire

• Two or more years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting
• Strong clinical decision-making skills related to pulmonary and cardiac systems across patient age groups
• Ability to work effectively under stress with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
