Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

New Orleans, LA

Contract | Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Coverage

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Deliver patient care in accordance with facility protocols and unit manager direction
• Participate in weekend coverage rotation on an every-other-weekend basis
• Complete required facility orientation modules as scheduled
• Report as assigned by unit manager in the event of an emergency, which may include remaining on-site or serving as part of a relief team

• Active CRT or RRT credential with a valid state license (Compact or Louisiana license required in hand at time of submittal)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in specialty; new graduates will not be considered
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (as verified by address on driver's license)
• Ability to provide 2 Manager or Supervisor references prior to contract start

• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Prior travel assignment experience, though first-time travelers with strong clinical backgrounds will be considered

• Orientation is held five days a week, providing a structured and supported onboarding experience
• Orientation modules are billable and factored into orientation hours
