Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics Therapist

New Orleans, LA

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend Coverage Required

• Provide respiratory therapy services including assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients with respiratory and neurological conditions
• Perform diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions as directed by the care team
• Participate in every-other-weekend coverage rotations as scheduled
• Respond to emergency events as assigned by unit management, which may include remaining on-site or serving on a relief team until the event has passed
• Complete required facility orientation modules and maintain compliance with all facility policies

• Active CRT or RRT credential with a valid state license (Compact or Louisiana license must be in hand at time of submittal)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in the specialty
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (as verified by address on driver's license)
• No new graduates accepted; experienced travelers and first-time travelers with sufficient experience will be considered
• Two manager or supervisor references required prior to contract start (Charge RNs not acceptable; PDF format required)

• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Prior travel therapy experience in a respiratory or neuro diagnostics setting

• Orientation is held five days a week and includes billable module completion time, supporting a smooth onboarding experience
• First-time travelers are welcome, providing an excellent opportunity for experienced Respiratory Therapists looking to begin their travel career
