Description
Job Title
Travel NICU Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases in a NICU/PICU setting
Operate and manage advanced respiratory equipment including High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servos, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, and Heliox
Administer medication delivery and respiratory therapies utilizing advanced technologies
Document patient care and clinical information using the Meditech documentation system
Float as needed to provide coverage on adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BiPAP, CPT, and related treatments
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment with a focus on patient-centered care
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
Minimum of 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
Current NICU/PICU clinical experience required
Active BLS certification required
Active NRP certification required
Active PALS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Previous experience with Meditech electronic documentation system strongly preferred
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Collaborative, team-oriented approach to multidisciplinary patient care
