Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Manchester, NH

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:15 AM – 6:45 PM) | 36 Hours Per Week | Every Other Weekend Required | No On-Call | Onsite

• Administer respiratory treatments including nebulizers, CPT, high-flow oxygen, NIV, cough assist, IPV, and continuous albuterol
• Manage and monitor patients on mechanical ventilation, including in-house transport of mechanically ventilated patients
• Assist with intubations and bronchoscopy procedures
• Provide care across acute care settings including ER, adult med/surg, and adult critical care under RT-driven protocols
• Provide pediatric ER and pediatric care only upon demonstrated competency; will not be utilized in Level 3 NICU

• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• Valid New Hampshire state respiratory therapy license (license pending accepted)
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross only)
• Experience in airway management, medication administration, vent management, ABGs, oxygen therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer therapy, BiPAP, and CPAP
• Epic electronic health record charting experience required
• Work setting experience in trauma, community hospital, ER, and adult ICU required
• Patient age group experience: Infants through Geriatrics required; Neonates preferred

• ACLS, PALS, CRTT, or RRT certification preferred
• Experience in Level I Trauma, teaching hospital, PICU, or acute care pediatric settings preferred
• Bronchoscopy experience preferred
• Ventilator equipment experience with Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Servo I, or LTV 1200/HT70 preferred
