Contract | Night Shift | 36 Hours Per Week | Onsite

• Perform basic and critical respiratory care services for adult and geriatric patients
• Provide respiratory care for patients with respiratory disease as ordered by the physician and in accordance with department policies
• Operate with and without direct supervision, including delegated oversight of others as appropriate
• Complete all required paperwork, electronic medical records, flow sheets, and patient charges accurately and in a timely manner
• Utilize EPIC and Cerner electronic health record systems for patient charting and documentation

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) credential or Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-CRT) credential required
• Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required in California
• Registration or Certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• EPIC experience within the last 12 months and recent Cerner experience required; charting system must be documented in work history

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; Master's Degree preferred
• Minimum three years of technical respiratory therapy experience
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and/or Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification
