Key Responsibilities- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions in a rehabilitation hospital setting
- Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and mechanical ventilation as indicated
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and disease management
Required Qualifications- Active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Colorado
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Current BLS certification
- Prior clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a rehabilitation or post-acute care setting
- Familiarity with ventilator management and weaning protocols
- Strong communication and patient education skills
