Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist to work at a Facility in Las Cruces, NM. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $55 / hour
Job Details:
- Nights 6p to 6a
- 6 weeks contract with strong potential of extension
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- A valid and current license issued by the state of NM
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
- Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.
- RT (CRT) must be certified
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess patients with breathing and lung problems
- Provide breathing treatments and oxygen therapy
- Operate and monitor ventilators and respiratory equipment
- Perform breathing tests and monitor lung function
- Assist with airway management and suctioning
- Monitor patient condition and response to treatment
- Educate patients on breathing exercises and inhaler use
- Respond to respiratory emergencies
- Document treatments and patient progress
- Work with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff
