Travel Respiratory Therapist – Registered (Variable Shifts)

Key Responsibilities- Provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic cardiopulmonary services to both inpatient and outpatient populations following approved medical staff protocols and department policies
- Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, including intubations and insertion of arterial lines
- Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas and maintain patient airways
- Manage mechanical ventilators and perform blood gas analysis
- Conduct pulmonary function studies as well as cardiac and pulmonary stress tests
- Provide respiratory care services to pediatric and obstetric (OB) patient populations
Required Qualifications- Active NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification — must be submitted with application
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical Respiratory Therapy experience
- Experience working with pediatric and OB patients
- Active Wyoming Respiratory Therapist (RT) license — must be submitted with application
- Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association — must be submitted with application
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel therapy experience in a hospital or acute care setting
- Previous experience working in a community hospital environment, either in a permanent or contract capacity
