Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel Contract

Hickory, North Carolina

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment | Alternating Weekends Required

• Provide respiratory therapy services across all patient populations, including adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
• Operate and manage a variety of ventilators and respiratory support equipment including Servo-I, Drager Evita 500, PB 840, Hamilton T-1 and MR-1, V-60 BiPAP, ResMed CPAP, and Optiflow high-flow systems
• Perform and interpret blood gas analysis using Siemens RapidPoint 500e analyzers
• Deliver care across multiple care settings including the Emergency Department and Critical Care units
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EHR
• Function both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented department environment

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential – Registry required
• Active North Carolina RRT License
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Minimum Associate Degree in Respiratory Care
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) including alternating weekends and possible on-call requirements
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify as a travel candidate

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience, with background in Emergency Department and Critical Care settings
• Experience in a nursery or neonatal care environment
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing to a high-retention, team-focused department

• Work at a full-service regional medical center home to specialized centers including a Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lung Center, Level 3 NICU, and a 32-bed Emergency Department
