Respiratory Therapist

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift | 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities- Provide acute respiratory therapy services within a Children's Hospital setting, including NICU and PICU
- Support patients on ECMO in the PICU as part of a specialized care team
- Work within a 70+ bed NICU, delivering high-acuity neonatal and pediatric respiratory care
- Maintain flexibility with scheduling patterns, including every other weekend and one on-call shift per six-week cycle
- Respond to on-call callbacks and arrive at the facility within 30 minutes of receiving a call
Required Qualifications- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Active North Carolina Respiratory Therapy license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NRP and PALS certifications required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Level 3 or Level 4 NICU and/or PICU — strictly required; new graduates will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills- Neonatal Pediatric Specialist (NPS) certification preferred
- Experience supporting ECMO patients in a pediatric critical care environment
