Travel NICU Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Nights

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Three 12-hour shifts per week including every other weekend | Projected Start Date: February 4, 2026
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory therapy care in a NICU setting, including management of neonatal and adult patients
- Operate and manage mechanical ventilation equipment including Hamilton C1, V60, and Hamilton MR1 ventilators
- Perform and assist with CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, and intubation assistance
- Accurately document patient care and clinical data using Meditech electronic documentation system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality respiratory care
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum of 2 years of general respiratory therapy experience
- NICU experience required (minimum skill level of 3 in NICU competencies)
- Proficiency with CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, and mechanical ventilation
- BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills- ACLS certification preferred; may be obtained after hire
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification preferred; may be obtained after hire
- Prior travel therapy experience in a hospital-based respiratory department
