    Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics (RRT)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery, as needed to meet facility demands
    • Deliver critical care respiratory support to patients requiring advanced monitoring and intervention
    • Administer and manage respiratory treatments, assessments, and diagnostic procedures within scope of practice
    • Participate in emergency response protocols, including potential assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)
    • Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records system
    Required Qualifications
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; CRT not accepted
    • Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience, with recent critical care experience required
    • Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license must be in hand at time of start
    • BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications must be in hand at time of start
    • NBRC (RRT) certification required and must be in hand at time of start
    • Ability to float to all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery, within scope of practice
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a large, acute care hospital setting (300+ beds)
    • Familiarity with Epic charting system
    • Experience with neuro diagnostics or specialty respiratory care areas
