Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory therapy services across Medical/Surgical, ICU, and Stepdown units within an approximately 280-bed acute care hospital
- Administer and monitor BiPAP/CPAP therapy and interpret Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
- Float to various inpatient units and facilities as needed
- Adhere to weekend and holiday rotation requirements (every other weekend and every other holiday)
- Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the NBRC
- Valid Indiana state respiratory therapy license
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Proficiency in Medical/Surgical, ICU, and Stepdown respiratory therapy
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and manage dynamic clinical environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
