Key Responsibilities- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions and disorders
- Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and mechanical ventilation
- Evaluate patient response to treatment and adjust care plans accordingly
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement respiratory care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and treatments
Required Qualifications- Active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Iowa
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Current BLS certification
- Demonstrated clinical experience in respiratory therapy
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with mechanical ventilation and critical care patients
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a clinical setting
