Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | 36 or 48 Hours Available | Every Other Weekend, Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory therapy services within a pediatric hospital setting, including NICU and PICU environments
- Perform respiratory and neuro diagnostic assessments and interventions in accordance with patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to monitor and manage patients requiring respiratory support
- Float within scope of practice to other units within the facility as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic electronic health records
Required Qualifications- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required; license must be in hand at time of submission
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Minimum Level 4 NICU experience required
- Valid Virginia state license required; pending license accepted provided a current license in another state is held and temporary Virginia license can be obtained prior to start date
- Epic electronic health records experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification preferred
- Cardiac PICU experience preferred
