    Job Title

    Respiratory Therapist – Pediatrics / Neuro Diagnostics

    Charleston, SC

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy services in a pediatric setting, with primary focus on NICU Level IV care
    • Perform assessments, treatments, and monitoring of neonatal and pediatric patients in accordance with facility protocols
    • Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required
    • Float within scope of practice to meet unit needs based on experience level
    • Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records system
    • Participate in emergency response team assignments as needed, including during hurricane season (June–November)
    Required Qualifications
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through NBRC
    • Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license — must be in hand at time of start
    • Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
    • Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
    • NICU Level IV experience required; Pediatric ICU experience may be considered
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Epic electronic health records system
    • Background in both neonatal and pediatric intensive care environments
