Key Responsibilities- Provide cardiopulmonary diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients in accordance with approved medical staff protocols and department policies
- Manage mechanical ventilators, perform ventilator weaning, and maintain artificial airways including ET tubes and tracheostomies
- Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas, including nebulizer treatments, CPAP, and BiPAP therapy
- Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, including insertion of arterial lines and intubations
- Perform pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and arterial blood gas analysis
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience with ventilator management, ventilator weaning, tracheostomy, ET tube, CPAP, BiPAP, and nebulizer treatments
- Active NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
- Active Oklahoma Respiratory Therapy license
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel therapy experience in an acute care or long-term acute care setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in hospital environments
