Job Title

Registered Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory Therapy (NICU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 36 Hours per Week | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly (excluding on-call time) | Every Third Weekend Rotation

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and interpret respiratory tests and procedures to assess and manage patient care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
  • Work autonomously across a variety of clinical settings, including administration of respiratory care protocols
  • Manage artificial airways and mechanical ventilation in Level 2 and Level 3 NICU and Special Care Nursery environments
  • Administer aerosolized medications and provide oxygen therapy to neonatal and pediatric patients
  • Participate in delivery room respiratory support as needed
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience required, with NICU experience required
  • Current CPR certification (AHA) required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
  • Certified to manage artificial airways, mechanical ventilation, aerosolized medication administration, and oxygen therapy
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Delivery room respiratory experience preferred
  • Pediatric respiratory therapy experience considered in addition to NICU experience
