Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required | Holiday work required when scheduled
Key Responsibilities- Manage all respiratory therapy equipment, treatments, patient transport, and arterial blood gases (ABGs) across adult, pediatric, and NICU patient populations
- Administer 36–42 treatments per 12-hour shift across inpatient floors
- Operate and monitor ventilators and respiratory support equipment including Draeger, Servo U, V60 BiPAP, Vapotherm, Optiflow, and Hill-Rom devices
- Assist with intubation procedures as directed; independent intubation is not required
- Collaborate with on-site lead therapists, hospitalists, and intensivists available 24/7
- Float to additional regional facilities as needed
Required Qualifications- Active CRT or RRT credential; RRT preferred — CRT candidates must have a minimum of 3–5 years of experience; RRT candidates must have a minimum of 2–3 years of experience
- Experience with adult, pediatric, and NICU patient populations is required
- BLS, ACLS (Adult patients), PALS (Pediatric patients), and NRP (NICU) certifications required
- Proficiency with NAVA (Neurally Adjusted Ventilatory Assist) ventilation on Cervo vents required for NICU assignments
Preferred Experience / Skills- RRT credential with demonstrated experience across adult ICU, pediatric, and NICU settings
- Familiarity with Draeger and Servo U ventilators, Philips Cough Assist, ResMed home CPAP, and Hill-Rom Metaneb and Vest percussion devices
- Prior travel therapy experience welcomed; first-time travelers will be considered
