Registered Respiratory Therapist – Travel (Nights)

Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple hospital settings including ICU, ER, Nursery (Level 1), and Med/Surge floors, serving patients ranging from newborns to adults
- Attend high-risk deliveries and participate as an active member of the neonatal and pediatric resuscitation team
- Manage and monitor patients requiring intubation and mechanical ventilation, including pediatric patients in the ER
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment including Drager V500 ventilators, V60 BiPAP, Hamilton T-1 transport ventilator, Airvo high-flow oxygen units, Neopuff, and RAM cannula
- Float throughout all areas of the hospital as needed, demonstrating flexibility and competency across patient populations
- Accurately document all patient care activities using the EPIC electronic medical records system
Required Qualifications- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
- Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS
- Experience working in an adult ICU and treating pediatric patients in an emergency setting
- Experience in a nursery setting including attendance at high-risk deliveries and participation on the resuscitation team
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR documentation system
Preferred Experience / Skills- NICU and/or PICU experience demonstrating comfort and competency with critically ill newborns and pediatric patients
- Hands-on experience with Drager V500, Hamilton T-1, Neopuff, and related respiratory equipment
- Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to adapt quickly across diverse patient populations
