Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide critical care respiratory therapy across mixed-age patient populations including NICU, PICU, and adult care settings such as the ER, Med/Surg ICU, and Level 1 Trauma units
  • Manage and monitor ventilated patients, with an average daily census of 6–7 ventilated patients and approximately 40 patient visits per day
  • Operate and manage specialized respiratory equipment including jet ventilation, oscillation, and nitric oxide delivery systems
  • Support Level 3 and/or Level 4 NICU operations, including frequent management of jet high-frequency ventilators
  • Float within specialty and to other units as required; every other weekend and holidays required as scheduled
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT; first-time travelers considered with strong PICU/NICU experience and demonstrated competency in adult care settings
  • Strong PICU and NICU experience required (HARD STOP); must also be competent to care for adult patients across assigned settings
  • Experience with all patient age groups required (neonatal through adult)
  • Level 3 and/or Level 4 NICU experience required; Pediatrics/PICU experience required
  • Active certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS (BLS/ACLS/PALS must be AHA; NRP or AAP accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience operating Maquet Servo i, Draeger V500, jet ventilation, oscillation, and nitric oxide equipment
  • Prior travel therapy experience with comfort floating across units and sister facilities within scope
  • Familiarity with ER and Level 1 Trauma environments in adult care settings
