Job Title

Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | Projected Start: July 20, 2026

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory therapy services across adult, NICU, and pediatric service lines within a large acute care hospital setting
  • Operate and manage a variety of ventilators and respiratory equipment including adult vents, infant/pediatric vents, transport vents, non-invasive devices, and high-flow oxygen systems
  • Document patient care accurately using an electronic medical records system (Cerner)
  • Float to all critical care units and general floor areas as needed based on patient census and staffing requirements
  • Maintain patient ratios and deliver high-quality respiratory care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
  • Adhere to unit dress code and scheduling requirements, including a minimum of four weekend shifts per six-week schedule
Required Qualifications
  • Active North Carolina Respiratory Therapy License
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Experience working in NICU or pediatric respiratory care settings
