Job Requirements

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related healthcare field

Certifications Requirements:

• Valid RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification
• State licensure for Ohio
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 1+ years of recent hospital respiratory therapy experience
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Experience floating across hospital departments is a plus

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work night shifts (7pm – 7:30am)
• Strong clinical skills in airway management and patient assessment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Job Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy care and interventions in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust therapies as needed.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in Meditech EMR.
• Maintain equipment and ensure infection control standards are upheld.
