Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site respiratory therapy assessments and treatments in patient care settings.

  • Deliver prescribed respiratory therapies and monitor patient responses.

  • Meet or exceed clinical targets and contribute to team KPIs.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, ethical, and regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with physicians and care teams to update care plans.

  • Document care activities and maintain accurate patient records.

  • Participate in continuous learning to stay current with respiratory guidelines.

  • Participate in shift handoffs and maintain clear communication with team.

  • Utilize data and pipelines to forecast patient needs and outcomes.

  • Educate patients and families on therapy options, device use, and safety.

  • Support inventory management and proper maintenance of respiratory equipment.

  • Demonstrate initiative for on-site improvement projects aligned with growth goals.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with active Nebraska license

  • Proven on-site respiratory therapy assessment and treatment delivery

  • Strong documentation and accurate patient records per regulatory standards

  • Ability to monitor responses, adjust therapies, and meet clinical KPIs

  • Commitment to safety, ethics, and regulatory compliance

  • Patient and family education on therapy options and device use

  • Collaborate with physicians and care teams to update care plans

  • Participation in shift handoffs and clear team communication

  • Data-driven forecasting of patient needs using pipelines and tools

  • Inventory management and maintenance of respiratory equipment

  • Willingness to participate in continuous learning and guideline updates
