Responsibilities
  • Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory disorders
  • Administer therapies such as oxygen, inhaled medications, and ventilator support
  • Monitor/document patient progress and outcomes
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on respiratory care
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Requirements
  • Active Virginia Respiratory Therapist license (or ability to obtain)
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Prior hospital, rehab, or acute care experience preferred
