Opportunity:

Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work in the Respiratory Services department across all critical care units and floors
• Patient ratios range from 10 to 25 patients
• Day shift staffing includes 15-20 RRTs for adult service lines and 3-4 RRTs for NICU/Pediatric service lines
• Night shift staffing includes 12-16 RRTs for adult service lines and 3-4 RRTs for NICU/Pediatric service lines
• Varying weekend shifts required with at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Required to float to all critical care units and floors
• Operate and manage equipment including GE R860 adult ventilators, Draeger infant/pediatric ventilators, Newport HT70 transport ventilator, V60 non-invasive device, Vapotherm and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices
• Use Cerner electronic medical records system
• Scrub color required: Medium Gray/Pewter
• Required certifications: RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist), BLS, ACLS, PALS
• North Carolina Respiratory License required
• NRP certification preferred
