Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT PICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in PICU with recent children’s hospital experience within the last 3 years License: Indiana State License required, accepts Indiana temporary license but must have applied for both Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT, NRP (required for placement in L&D), PALS preferred Must-Have: Children's hospital experience within the last 3 years L&D experience required Ability to float between PICU, NICU, and Peds as needed Description: This role requires prescreening confirmation from the candidate regarding the every other weekend requirement. First-time travelers are accepted. The schedule includes 4x12-hour shifts with every other weekend required. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of PICU experience, specifically in a children’s hospital. The candidate should have L&D experience as the primary focus will be in this area. Floating between NICU, PICU, and Pediatrics is required based on facility needs. The position will require expertise in various respiratory therapy procedures, including aerosol setups and mechanical ventilation. Candidates must have strong clinical skills and be adaptable to a dynamic environment. The ability to work efficiently and collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams is essential. All candidates must be willing to comply with vaccination requirements as specified.
