Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years as staff therapist required; pediatric and adult experience preferred; experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital required. License: WI RCP required; pending license at time of submittal is accepted. Certifications: NBRC - RRT required; BLS required - AHA ONLY. Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred. - Experience in trauma Level I and Level II settings is required. - Travel experience is required. Description: Evening and night shifts available, including 8 or 12-hour shifts. Shifts typically run from 19:00 to 07:30, 23:00 to 07:30, or 15:00 to 23:30. Every other weekend rotation and holidays will be required. There will be one on-call shift every 6 weeks during the scheduling period. The traveler has the option of 13 or 26 weeks duration. Modified time and a telemetry exam will be required prior to start. All candidates must pass the telemetry exam within two attempts. Competency in adult and pediatric cardiac rhythms is mandatory. Travelers are expected to float to other units as necessary. Teamwork and communication will be essential in providing patient care.
