Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - NICU Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT - NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in pediatric, neonate, and infant care License: Must have South Carolina RRT license Certifications: RRT certification, BLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: - Pediatric, neonate, and infant experience - Epic experience preferred Description: This position requires a registered respiratory therapist to work in a pediatric unit. The therapist will provide respiratory care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients. The role includes a holiday rotation and requires every other weekend coverage. There is no on-call requirement for this position. Clincian may float within the scope based on experience. All requests for time off must be included at the time of application. The facility allows one shift to be canceled every two weeks. The work environment is a teaching hospital with a focus on neonate and pediatric care. Certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care is required. The candidate should be open to completing a block schedule if approved. A pending state license may be accepted if proof of application is provided. Traveler will not be cleared for work until the South Carolina license is active. Compliance with pre-start processes is essential before the proposed start date.
