Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join a critical access hospital team in Middlebury, VT. This travel assignment offers the opportunity to work in a diverse patient environment, including ICU, ED, and NICU floors. Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist
  • Provide respiratory therapy care and life support to patients with respiratory deficiencies
  • Manage ventilators for patients across different age groups
  • Coordinate with medical personnel to evaluate patient outcomes and modify plans accordingly
  • Float between units including Medical/Surgical, Emergency Department, and Birthing Center as needed

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist
  • Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) or eligibility to take NBRC written examination
  • Vermont state licensure as a respiratory care practitioner
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
  • Must have NICU experience within the last year
  • Experience with Epic documentation system within the past 2 years
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in specialty
