Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 4 years (open to candidates with 2+ years of experience) License: Valid State License Certifications: BLS, RRT Must-Have: RRT certification and BLS certification required. 4 years of experience preferred; candidates with 2+ years of experience will be considered. Able to float between sections occasionally. Description: This position involves cross posting for multiple available spots. Candidates must be willing to work every other weekend. The facility cannot approve time off for specific holidays. RRT clinicians should have strong communication and critical thinking skills. Team members are encouraged to work at the top of their license in a multidisciplinary environment. Experience with adult critical care and common respiratory equipment is essential. Candidates should be familiar with standard procedures in respiratory therapy. Some preferred skills include BiPAP, CPAP, tracheostomy management, and arterial blood gas interpretation. Experience with charting systems is preferred. The role may involve floating within scope of practice as needed. Background checks will be conducted in accordance with facility policies.
