Job Title: Respiratory Care Specialist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience required. Must have at least one year of experience in a large Level 1 Trauma facility. License: Nebraska State License preferred. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT required. RRT preferred. Must-Have: First-time travelers accepted. Experience with Epic charting preferred. Level 1 Trauma experience required. Description: This position requires a licensed respiratory care professional with experience in critical care settings. Candidates should possess a thorough understanding of adult critical care, BiPAP, CPAP, and mechanical ventilation. Skills in troubleshooting alarms and weaning patients from mechanical ventilation are essential. The role includes interpretation of arterial blood gases and management of tracheostomy care. Applicants must have a demonstrated ability to provide care to complex patients in a fast-paced environment. Candidates will be expected to work weekends and participate in mandatory training sessions. This position promotes a nicotine-free work environment.
