**Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Respiratory Therapist!** **Job Description:** - Are you ready to elevate your career in Respiratory Therapy? - Join a dynamic and supportive team that is dedicated to improving patient care and outcomes in a hospital setting. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide respiratory therapy under medical direction, focusing on the education, treatment, management, and diagnostic evaluation of patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies. - Assist with intubation and manage ventilator setup and operations. - Gather essential information to evaluate patient needs, ensuring thorough disease education and collaboration with other health care professionals. - Build rapport and mutual respect with patients, caregivers, and team members to create an optimal environment for goal achievement. - Document and provide education to patients and caregivers based on identified needs in a clear and understandable manner. - Engage in various duties and projects as assigned. - Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior. - Meet physical requirements: Lift a minimum of 5 lbs., push and pull a minimum of 5 lbs., and stand for at least 1 hour daily. - Maintain regular contact with medical personnel and visitors. **Qualifications:** - Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a licensed RRT required. - At least 1 year of ICU experience required; previous ventilator experience is essential. - Must be willing to float to adult ICU areas, intermediate care, and basic intermediate care floors. **Required Skills:** - Quick learner who can adapt to changing patient needs. - Strong sense of accountability for enhancing the lives of patients and caregivers. - Exceptional teamwork focus. - Passion for delivering the highest quality of care with a strong patient-centered approach. **Education & Certifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. - Current ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required. - Current New Jersey Respiratory Care license and valid NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required. **Schedule:** - Work hours: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, 3X12. - Every other weekend required, with holiday shifts as needed. - 13-week contract. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
