Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Location: Concord, MA

Pay: $2,366.28 weekly

Shifts: Nights, 36 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend, no call, rotating holidays

Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Concord, MA. In this role, you will provide a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services to patients of all ages. You will be working within an inpatient and outpatient hospital environment, reporting directly to the Director of Cardio/Pulmonary/Neurology/Sleep Disorders.

Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist
  • Perform respiratory care procedures as per departmental and hospital policies.
  • Evaluate, treat, and re-assess patients following physicians' orders.
  • Assist physicians and nursing staff in applying therapeutic modalities.
  • Orient and train respiratory and nursing personnel.
  • Participate in Code Team and Rapid Response Team.
  • Provide patient and family education.
  • Engage in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives.
  • Partake in departmental education activities.
  • Transport patients as required.
  • Support the Director with special projects and inventory control.
  • Maintain and advocate for patients' rights to care, privacy, and respect.

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist
  • Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy (RT) program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
  • NRP certification required upon submission and hire
  • Previous RT experience strongly preferred
  • Previous patient care experience preferred
