Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 19:00 - 07:30 Experience: Minimum of two years as a staff therapist, pediatric and adult experience preferred. License: Required Certifications: BLS, RRT Must-Have: Experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital. COARC accredited school for Respiratory Therapy required. Description: Evening/Night shifts available, including 8- and 12-hour shifts with rotations on weekends and holidays. One on-call shift required every six weeks. Traveler has the option for either a 13-week or 26-week duration. WI RCP required - pending license accepted at the time of submittal. Skills needed include adult critical care, aerosol setup, EKG interpretation, and more. Travelers are required to have experience in adult critical care and familiarity with a diverse range of respiratory treatments and procedures. Pass/Fail testing required with strict passing criteria for telemetry exams. Competency renewal is necessary for specific certifications as mandated. Must be prepared for potential floating to other units based on staffing needs. Weekend coverage is a requirement, and scheduled shifts may vary depending on patient care needs.
