Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - NICU Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required. License: Valid State License must be in hand at submission. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS, RRT. Must-Have: Must have Level 3 NICU experience, including competency in Nitric oxide, Jet, and Oscillator ventilation. Description: This position requires flexibility as it may float between units. It is not required to be on-call. Weekends are required every other week. Candidates must have charge experience. The ideal candidate will have experience charting on the Epic system. Travelers may be expected to float between neighboring facilities. Refusal to float could result in termination of assignment. Providers equipped with communication devices will be supplied as needed. Modules must be completed pre-start and annually. Time spent on modules is self-reported. Completion of modules is recorded in transcripts. Two references covering one year of experience within the last three years are required. Skills required include those related to adult critical care and various neonatal respiratory therapies. Patient diagnoses are primarily related to NICU care. Special notes: Candidates must request all time-off requests during submission. Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule may lead to termination of the contract. Must commit to working three of the five designated holidays. Candidates should not contact facility personnel directly unless for an agreed-upon interview.
