It has a Magnet designation and is a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The facility has a total of 933 beds. The Covid vaccine is required for all staff. The patient population consists mostly of geriatrics and adults, with some pediatrics in the emergency department. The patient ratios are 1:1. Charting is done using an electronic system. The relevant equipment includes AVEA vents, Servo U vents, LPU 1200 vents, parapack vents for MRI, and Hamilton vents for transport. Floating among units within the hospital is required. Weekend rotation is every other weekend by default. Time off requests can be approved for up to 7 days by default. On-call requirements vary. Holiday expectations also vary. Block scheduling cannot be accommodated. All staff, including travelers, must comply with a fatigue policy, which states that no one can work more than 60 hours in a week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts. Scrub color can be any, but camo and denim are not permitted. Free parking is available.
