Job Title: Pediatric Respiratory Therapist - NICU Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in NICU, pediatric critical care, and pediatrics License: Active RRT license in hand Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS Must-Have: Level IV NICU experience is required Experience with high-frequency jet ventilators Experience with oscillating ventilators Experience with pediatric cardiac anomalies Description: We are seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist with NICU experience. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in NICU, pediatric critical care, and pediatrics. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS. This position involves working with neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults. Strong preference is given to those who are RRTs, though CRT candidates may be considered based on experience. The role demands proficiency with aerosol setups, BiPAP, ECMO, and various ventilation strategies. Candidates should have excellent skills in troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and interpreting arterial blood gases. Weekend shifts are required, with a total of six weekend shifts scheduled every six weeks. Bi-weekly orientations are conducted for new hires.
