Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU) Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of two years required License: Ohio RRT license in hand required Certifications: NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, PALS required Must-Have: Must have experience in PEDS, PICU, and NICU (high-level care level 4). Must be nicotine-free. Background checks will be reviewed for any hits. Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start. References from management required for submission. Description: The Respiratory Therapist will work in RRT-NICU, PICU, and CVICU with pediatric patients. This role may float to various NICUs and children's rehabilitation facilities. The position requires advanced skills in respiratory care for critically ill children. Travelers will need to complete two fingerprintings: one onsite for facility requirements and the second through the agency. All work history, including any previous positions, must be included in the application. All required certifications must be provided at the time of submission. Communication about requests for time off and scheduling must occur during the submission process and interview. Candidates may extend their contracts for a period of 18 months, followed by a mandatory break. Annual modules must be completed and recorded for compliance. This is a smoke-free facility.
