Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in pediatric, neonate, and infant care License: RRT SC license must be in hand at the time of start Certifications: RRT certification, BLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: Pediatric, Neonate, and Infant experience; Epic experience preferred Description: This position requires a registered respiratory therapist (RRT) to work in the pediatric unit. The individual will be responsible for providing respiratory care to critically ill infants and children. The schedule includes 3 night shifts per week, with a holiday rotation and every other weekend requirement. Clinicians will float within scope depending on their experience. First-timers are accepted if they meet the necessary qualifications. This facility has a total of 865 staffed beds and is recognized as a teaching hospital. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. RTO must be included at the time of submission, and no time off requests will be accepted after submission. Candidates with a pending South Carolina license may be considered if they have applied for the license. Travelers must complete all compliance requirements on time to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
