Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years required in pediatric, neonate, and infant care License: RRT SC license must be in hand at the time of start Certifications: RRT certification, BLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: Pediatric, neonate, and infant experience; Epic experience preferred Description: This position requires a Respiratory Therapist specializing in pediatrics. The schedule includes three 12-hour night shifts with a holiday rotation. Every other weekend commitment is required. The clinician may float within their scope to meet facility needs depending on experience. First-timers are accepted for this position, provided they meet the experience requirements. Candidates must possess RRT certification and hold a valid South Carolina respiratory care provider license. NRP and PALS certifications are also required. Travelers should be aware of the hurricane season, and assignments may involve emergency response duties. All requests for time off must be provided prior to submission and will be subject to approval based on unit needs. A clear understanding of patient care for neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatrics is essential. Experience with Epic charting is preferred. Completion of all compliance requirements before the proposed start date is necessary.
