Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Level 4 NICU experience required; Cardiac PICU experience preferred License: Must have a valid state license Certifications: RRT, BLS, NRP required Must-Have: Experience working in NICU and PICU; comfortable in high-risk deliveries; ability to work the children's hospital Description: Client offer will be sent for clinical review. Will work nights. Can offer 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend and every other holiday required. Unit has a self-scheduling model that the manager will explain in a call. Desired schedule is not guaranteed but will do best to accommodate. Must have strong communication and critical thinking skills. The RT must work in all units. Must be competent in caring for patients in NICU, PICU, and acute care pediatrics. Must be comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team. Special procedures include working with infants and children in a complex congenital heart program. Must be competent in the use of both the Bunnell Jet Ventilator and HFOV 3100A.
